On January 6, 2005, the Anti-Defamation League's federal "anti-hate" bill, "The Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2005," HR 259, was re-introduced into the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime. This legislation will establish a vast "anti-hate" bureaucracy similar to Canada's, which will affect Christians nationwide.

Pennsylvania State Representative Tom Yewcic (Democrat - Cambria County) has introduced H.B. 204 to repeal Act 143 which added "actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender and gender identity" in November 2002.
