Dear Friends,

I come to you with a grieved heart as I have been reflecting quite often this year on how quickly our nation continues to head down the path of destruction.  True Christians in America are finding themselves today, now more than ever before in our nation's history, facing extreme opposition by our government as the wicked continue to advance their unGodly agenda to silence faithful Christians from speaking the truth of God's Word and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The modern-day American church establishment has no resemblance to Biblical Christianity, so I write to you with a grieved heart as I so desire a spiritual awakening in our nation.

Today, most pastors and professing Christians are not reaching out to the lost with the Gospel, but instead, have become friends of the world; they refuse to open their mouths for the thousands of helpless children that continue to be murdered daily at the hands of abortionists; they refuse to address the dangerous promotion and acceptance of sexually deviant lifestyles, and have turned their church services into nothing more than self-help seminars filled with mindless entertainment that are void of the Word of God. 

Last month, I was particularly saddened when I learned that a number of pastors were "up in arms" over an NFL policy that prohibited the "Super Bowl" from being shown on big screens in sanctuaries.   This is another alarming example as to how far the American church has drifted from Biblical Christianity.  Oh, only if the church would have as much excitement and passion to win the lost!  And, only if the church would be "up in arms" over the abortion holocaust in our midst!  The impact God's people could make, only if we would love Him!  Our disobedience and wicked ways have invited His judgment, and our nation continues to rush down the path of destruction.  "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14) 

As we continue to labor to reach the lost for Christ, we face much opposition from police and other government officials who continue in their attempts to silence us.  It is only by God's grace that we are not in prison now, and retain some freedom to continue to publicly witness and preach the Gospel as the efforts to silence Christians across America grows.  In fact, a powerful 13-week series has just been produced and is now airing on the Inspiration Network.  Speechless...Silencing the Christians shows how Christians all over America are being targeted and silenced because of their faith in Jesus Christ.  Members of our ministry team and I are featured in Episode 1, which previously aired and is now available online, and Episode 3, which is set to air on Saturday, March 29th on INSP (8:30 p.m. EST) and Friday, April 4th on iLife TV (9:30 p.m. EST) .  We will be discussing the Philadelphia 11 case in which we had been arrested, jailed and prosecuted for a "hate crime" for speaking the Biblical truth about homosexuality.  For further information on this series or to watch the trailer, click here.  "Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith." I would also like to report of a recent court victory in Atlantic City, N.J. in which the Atlantic City Superior Court dismissed charges against our ministry team in an outreach we conducted last year.  Although there were no arrests, Atlantic City police stated that we were not permitted to engage in evangelism on the boadwalk and cited us for violating a city ordinance.  Read more about this victory by clicking here.

As you may be aware, I will stand trial this Monday for preaching on Halloween night in "The Witch City," Salem, Massachusetts, to those celebrating darkness.  I ask that you pray for me, my attorney, as well as for those who will be testifying on my behalf.  Despite the fact that there is absolutely no evidence showing that I violated any laws by preaching to the crowds of people, as I have done so each year for the past 5 years during the annual event, Assistant District Attorney Jane Prince received her orders to move ahead to trial.  Yesterday's WorldNetDaily story, "Preacher on trial for ministering in 'Witch City'," details the specifics of what happened, and includes video footage showing my encounter with police and my subsequent arrest.  The video footage is also available on our YouTube Channel.
