REPENT AMERICA REBUKES MESSIAH COLLEGE
FOR HOSTING "COMPASSION FORUM" 04/14/08

GRANTHAM, PA — Yesterday, Repent America (RA) was present at Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. for the so-called “Compassion Forum” to show the reality of abortion and to call upon event attendees to repent and be moved with compassion for the thousands of unborn children who continue to be murdered at the hands of abortionists on a daily basis. Despite much opposition from Messiah College, a college that has drifted far from Biblical Christianity, RA was successful in its efforts to expose Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as promoters of the abortion holocaust while calling college administrators, faculty, and students to return to the God of the Bible. Messiah College alumni and current students worked with RA's efforts.

"In hosting the Compassion Forum, Messiah College once again opened its doors to the promotion of Scriptural perversion," stated Repent America director Michael Marcavage. "The objective of this forum was certainly not to discuss Biblical compassion since neither of the featured presidential candidates believe in protecting the most helpless among us — children in the womb," he continued. "This event was nothing more than a political scheme aimed at Christians to affirm unrighteous people for public office, and another example of Messiah College's apostasy," Marcavage concluded.

During the forum, both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton received standing ovations from event attendees, which was mainly made up of Messiah College students.

Last year, on March 13, 2007, Messiah College administrators welcomed the homosexual propaganda of Mel White's Equality Ride to its campus. Equality Ride, a group of professing homosexual Christians, organizes each year and travels the country to Christian-based colleges to encourage the acceptance of homosexuality.
