The American Holocaust

This photo shows a 21-week-old pre-born baby who was being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner (his finger is in the photo). Baby Samuel had been diagnosed with Spina Bifida. The operation was held at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. The doctor and his team pioneered the delicate operation in an attempt to save little Samuel's life. As the doctor probed the opening, little Samuel reached out and wrapped his little tiny hand around the surgeon's finger! The surgery was a success and Samuel was born on Dec. 2, 2000, weighing 5 lbs. 22 ozs., measuring 20-1/2 inches long. He was born at 36 weeks.
