REPENT AMERICA HONORS JUDGE ROY MOORE

"Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour." Romans 13:7

IN HONOR OF JUDGE ROY MOORE

Praise be unto our King for Judge Roy Moore!

Judge Roy Moore
Twenty-eighth Chief Justice
of the Alabama Supreme Court

It is remarkable as to how far our nation has drifted from God and His Law. However, looking back, it is easily seen that the Christian people of our nation have been silent, allowing those who hate God to gain power. The Church has not only allowed, but continues to assist them by voting for the lesser of two evils. At a National Atheist Conference in Washington, D.C. last year, one speaker put it so clearly when he said, "The Church in America is a sleeping giant." For decades we have allowed the public school system to teach our children the religion of atheism and all of its lies, claiming that man evolved from a rock. We have allowed the daily bloodshed of over 4,500 babies in our nation for the past 31 years. Why is the Church silent as our nation heads down this path of destruction? Why has the Church been silent for all these years?

Who is to say what is right and what is wrong? This question cannot be answered logically by any who have rejected God's Law and thereby their own conscience. Who is to say that rape, murder, and lying are wrong? If it not be God, then who? Certainly one's thoughts, ideas, philosophies, and theories will not suffice! It is God who has given us all a conscience to know right from wrong. The scripture declares in Psalm 19:7, "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul.." It is those who hate God who are offended by His Law and oppose the public display of the Ten Commandments. These same people, living in rebellion toward God, are also seeking to remove the acknowledgement of God from all public places. Judge Moore continues to declare God's Truth in the midst of our nation's hatred toward God. As Chief Justice Moore has stated, "it is axiomatic that to restore morality we must first recognize the source from which all morality springs." Therefore, we take this opportunity to honor him.

a few weeks prior to his termination from office on November 13, 2003.

On November 13, 2003, Alabama's nine-member Court of the Judiciary expelled Judge Roy Moore from his position as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. This ruling came after Judge Moore refused to move a Ten Commandments Monument from the rotunda of the Alabama Supreme Court building in Montgomery, Alabama. Moore placed the 5,280 pound granite monument in the rotunda in August of 2001 to honour God and remind those entering that the foundation of America's law is derived from God's Holy Law. This monument depicts the moral foundation of law in America, bearing excerpts from the text of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20. Quotes are also included from: the Declaration of Independence ("Laws of Nature and of Nature's God"); our National Motto ("In God We Trust"); the Pledge of Allegiance ("One Nation Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for All"); and the Judiciary Act of 1789 ("So Help Me God"). In October of that year, two separate lawsuits were filed against Chief Justice Moore by plaintiffs represented by the Americans United for Separation of Church and State (ACLU), and the Southern Poverty Law Center, demanding that the monument be removed. Moore refused to give in to their God-hating demands, gaining national attention and support for his actions. Listen now to an excellent interview with Judge Roy Moore by a secular radio program; the opening comments in this interview are sobering: NPR Interviews Judge Roy Moore

"I have absolutely no regrets. I have done what I was sworn to do," Moore declared after the judicial panel's termination verdict, sparking applause from dozens of supporters at the courthouse. "It's about whether or not you can acknowledge God as a source of our law and our liberty. That's all I've done." As America plunges deeper into Godlessness and sin, praise be unto our King for raising up a God-fearing leader like Roy Moore. Read Judge Moore's biography

As millions of people heard about Judge Moore's refusal to remove the Ten Commandments Monument, through the national media, they were also confronted with God's Law. Judge Moore's fight is against government tyranny and against those who are waging war to remove the acknowledgement of God from public places. Moore is a bold soldier of Christ who is being used mightily by God in our nation. REPENT AMERICA honor him for his unwavering and unshakable stand.

WE HONOR HIM FOR:

  1. HONORING AND KEEPING GOD FIRST IN HIS LIFE AND CAREER
  2. LEADING A GODLY FAMILY IN SERVICE TO THE LORD
  3. KEEPING HIS PROMISE TO RESTORE THE MORAL FOUNDATION OF LAW IN AMERICA
  4. KEEPING HIS OATH TO UPHOLD THE ALABAMA AND UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION
  5. NOT BOWING TO GOVERNMENT TRYANNY, THEREBY BRINGING
    INTERNATIONAL ATTENTION TO GOD'S LAW
  6. AWAKENING THE CHURCH THROUGH HIS OBEDIENCE TO GOD
  7. HOLDING FAST TO BIBLICAL TRUTH IN THE MIDST OF HIS FELLOW CHRISTIAN'S CONDEMNATION FOR REFUSING TO MOVE THE MONUMENT
  8. EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT THE FOUNDATION OF AMERICAN LAW
  9. INSPIRING OTHERS TO GET INVOLVED IN FIGHTING AGAINST GOVERNMENT
TRYANNY AND UPHOLDING GOD'S LAW IN OUR NATION
  10. CONTINUING THE FIGHT FOR THE STATES' RIGHT TO ACKNOWLEDGE GOD

After Judge Moore's hearing he stated, "We fought a good fight, we finished this course, we have kept the faith. But the battle is not over. The battle will continue to rage across this country, and across this land til the acknowledgment of God is restored and our Nation is restored to its fundamental basis and precepts. We will not become a one world order government. Thank you."

Michael Marcavage
Michael Marcavage remembers all too well the covering of a Ten Commandments plaque on the West Chester County Courthouse in West Chester, Pennsylvania in April of 2001. He was one of four arrested in an attempt to prevent the covering of this 80 year old plaque. The ACLU later lost, but since Judge Moore's case they have decided to appeal.
While in Alabama, Marcavage spoke briefly, addressing those gathered in support and to stand with Judge Moore. "Because of the church's silence we gather here. This certainly did not happen overnight. God is allowing things such as this to take place because we have been unfaithful in taking His Law and His Gospel into the communities of America. Since we have decided not to live in obedience by being the salt and light, He has allowed a time such as this where people's attention all across this nation and in different parts of the world are now on His Commandments. Galatians 3:24 declares, 'Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.' This is why God's Law must be declared to all people. And now, as we see persecution in our midst, God will use battles like this to compel Christians to come out of their church buildings and fight the good fight. We know that what Satan meant for evil, God will use for good." Genesis 50:20 states, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me: but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Certainly this controversy has stirred many questions in people's minds. Perhaps the most pressing is, What is it about these Ten Commandments that make people so angry? Paul said in Romans 7:7, "What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet." A further understanding of the purpose of God's Law comes from Galatians 3:24, "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." God's Law is offense to people because it confronts them with the fact that they have broken it and will stand before Him guilty. These same people do not understand that irregardless of removing God's Law from sight, it does not erase their existence. The scripture declares in Romans 2:15, "Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another..." The only hope a person has of paying the sin debt he owes is by receving the payment for his sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Thanks to the ACLU for further advancing God's Law through their persecution of Judge Roy Moore. Perhaps such recent events will compel the sleeping church to wake up, or is persecution on it's way to purge the churches of our nation? As for now and more than ever, people are being confronted with the Ten Commandments. "But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient..." 1 Timothy 1:8-9 May God's Will be done in these United States.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL
by Judge Roy Moore

America the Beautiful, or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride; I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty, your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts,
When God has said abstain.
From sea to shining sea, our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
And a need to always pray.

So many worldly preachers tell lies about our Rock,
Saying God is going broke so they can fleece the flock.
We've kept God in our temples,
How callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
And Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges
Who throw reason out the door,
Too soft to place a killer in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
Before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry,
That our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
Before His judgement comes?
How are we to face our God,
From Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
But stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children, will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face and mend our evil way;
Then God will hear from Heaven
And forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land and those who live wthin.

But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't then you will see,
A sad but Holy God withdraw His hand from Thee.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." II Chronicles 7:14 KJV
